Ubae.Co | Brand Ambassador
Project Overview: Ubae.Co creates dog and cat treats using ube (purple yam originated from the Philippines) that are healthy, delicious, and perfect for sensitive stomachs. As a brand ambassador (@kasama_pomsky), I contribute and support Ubae.Co's brand growth by creating engaging content, promoting their products with their mission in mind, and building awareness within the pet parent community.
Goal: Create content (static & motion) featuring Ubae.Co's products, highlighting the treats through lifestyle, playful, and trend-based concepts to increase relatability, awareness and reach.
Creative Execution: Developed a social content strategy in honor of Filipino American History Month with a food series called "Kain Na, Kasama" ("Let's Eat Together," and a play on my dog's name, Kasama). This series reimagined Filipino dishes as dog-friendly recipes, inspired by Filipino-owned brands and creators, and featured Ubae.Co's ube treats to make popular desserts and drinks that celebrated Filipino culture and flavors. Additional social content included product-focused lifestyle photos with Kasama in branded merch to visually represent Ubae.Co and their products.
Results: The "Kain Na, Kasama" series boosted engagement, strengthened community connections between culture and pet parents, and inspired the community to celebrate and share their heritage with their pets. The series also drove measurable results, increasing sales and broader audience reach. With the positive engagement of "Kain Na, Kasama", the series continues beyond Filipino American History Month.
Moment of Impact: Experimenting with a new content approach helped my food series connect with the Filipino and dog/pet parent community, bringing Filipino flavors for pets into the spotlight. It felt meaningful to encourage pet parents to try culture-inspired recipes while supporting smaller brands and creators like Ubae.Co.
